History
In the year of 2002 a revelation came upon a faithful woman of God to form a prayer group and named it Israel Restore. Sister Micheline took heed to this revelation and without fail, the ministry came to fruition. Israel Restore was born, in the living rooms of a handful of sold out servants of the Lord. They came together every Monday morning to pray for the church leadership, families, communities, the world and especially for Haiti. The name represents the building up and the unified strength of a broken nation; providing hope for a better tomorrow.
Sister Anne Marie Gourdet was one of the few that led this ministry. As the ministry evolved and took residence in her home in the year of 2010, inspired by the Holy Spirit, a prayer temple was built so that lost souls can find guidance and prayer warriors can come together in fellowship.
There was a charge on this ministry to raise funds to support the struggling families in Haiti especially the children, for they are our hope and future. Shelters, clothes, food, education and good health are the basic necessities for survival; and the goal was and still is to help provide that. However, to thrive in this world, one of the most important elements for true growth is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Israel Restore stands on biblical principles and we believe that no man can stand without Jesus Christ as their foundation.
In the latter years of Sister Gourdet’s life, she made it her mission to share the vision of Israel Restore and instilled the behaviors of prayer, teaching of the word and generous giving in her own children, especially in her one and only son Evens Gourdet. Now the legacy continues through him and the missionary team.

After God, it was the fervent prayers of my loving Mother that kept me alive and freed me from the hands of the enemy; and it is with that same fervency that brought me into God’s marvelous light and embraced me as His royal son. For many years I have paid the price for ignoring the calling of the Lord and my story will be shared. However, my testimony today is that I am a proud child of the King, a sold-out soldier of Christ, and a preacher of God’s living word.”
